How I Approach Projects

Responsive Design

1. Discover

Every design starts with research. It’s all about you, so there’s no compromise. The more I know about your organization and your goals for a project, the better my understanding of how to help you.

Responsive Design

2. Plan

Preparation is everything. During this stage, I take all the information gathered in the previous step and create a plan of approach, with a basic product definition and an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) roadmap.

Responsive Design

3. Sketch

This is a quick and easy way to validate ideas. I start by figuring out smaller components, then move onto bigger things. This step is all about refining rough concepts into something more substantial: a solid blueprint to build with.

Responsive Design

4. Test & Iterate

Testing allows me to identify design flaws, refine concepts and apply this knowledge to make a better product. It happens during the entire project lifecycle, so if something doesn’t work well, I can quickly find out why and fix it, even if it means going back to a drawing board.

Responsive Design

5. Launch

Once we have reached our MVP, tested it thoroughly, we can finally launch it. The best thing to do now, is to listen to user feedback and improve over and over, to make sure your customers enjoy using your product or service, as much as we did building it.

Responsive Design

6. Improve

It doesn't stop there. Every design is a living, breathing thing and needs to be continuously monitored and improved to meet–and exceed–user needs.
